The stage is set, the amps are on, and the countdown has begun! Battle of the Bands Monmouth 2025 is ready to showcase the hottest emerging talent in two electrifying categories: Under 18s and Over 18s.

Live Auditions: 14th – 16th April 2025
- Under 18s Venue: The Hitchcock Pavillion, Wyebridge Street, Monmouth, NP25 3AD on 14th April
- Over 18s Venue: The Hitchcock Pavillion, Wyebridge Street, Monmouth, NP25 3AD on 15th & 16th April
This is your chance to perform in front of a live audience, impress our industry-expert judges, and secure your place in the finals.
Audition Performance Requirements
Each band must perform:
- “Rebel Rebel” by David Bowie (to test stage presence and musicality)
- Two songs of your choice – at least one must be original.
This is your moment to showcase your talent, creativity, and unique sound.
Under 18s Category
- All band members must be under 18 at the time of entry.
- Parental or guardian consent required for participants under 16.
- Must perform at least one original song.
- Prizes include:
- Day in a Recording Studio with two songs professionally recorded
- Professional photos
- Mentoring from sector professionals
- Slot in the line-up at YFest Festival
- Tickets to YFest Festival
Over 18s Category
- All band members must be 18 or older.
- Open to all musical styles, with an emphasis on originality and performance quality.
- Must perform at least one original song.
- Prizes include:
- Day in a Recording Studio with two songs professionally recorded
- Slot in the Line-up at LakeFest and Landed Festival
- Professional photos
